Danny Loggins, age 78, of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Tuesday, March 11th, 2025 at St. Vincent's North Hospital in Sherwood, Arkansas with his family by his side. He was born in Marshall, Arkansas on March 15th, 1946 to George Washington Loggins and Effie Sanders Loggins.
Danny graduated from Marshall High School in 1964. He was the first son to graduate in his family. He married the love of his life, Nancy Jolly Loggins, on September 27th, 1965 and they had three sons. Danny treasured being able to build a family and raise them in Zack, right across the road from where he grew up. He was a devoted Husband, Dad and Papa and would do anything that he could to make sure that his family was taken care of. He worked in drywall and spent many years working alongside his sons. He worked everyday up until he retired to devote his time caring for his wife through her sickness. He enjoyed going to his farm to check the cows, watching westerns, deer hunting and eating catfish and chocolate rolls. He served his county as a volunteer firefighter and Justice of the Peace. He may have been a man of few words, but he was well known and respected by many.
Survivors include his sons, Doug Loggins and Josh Loggins (Haley); granddaughter, Makayla; grandson, Zack; sister, Charlene Horton; brothers, Jerry Loggins and Mackie Dale Loggins and a host of extended family and friends.
Danny is preceded in death by his parents, George and Effie Loggins; his wife of 56 years, Nancy Carol Jolly Loggins who passed away in 2022; son, Dale Loggins and brothers, Jackie, Eugene, Carl, J.C. and Paul Ray Loggins.
Funeral services for Danny will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 15th, 2025 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Tommy Jolly and Bro. Sam Horton officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 till 2:00 PM preceding the service. Burial will be in Dennard Cemetery where Danny will be laid to rest beside his loving wife, Nancy. Bearers will be Michael Harness, Brock Harness, Tony Horton, Paul Loggins, Tarance DePriest and Heath Horton.
