Benjamin Todd Davis passed peacefully on March 7, 2025 surrounded by his family. Ben was born on June 19, 1973 in Orlando, Florida. He was the beloved father of Kimberly Davis Webster.
Ben's journey on this earth was one marked by his unwavering love for his family, his 20-year service to our country and his solid faith in God. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends and many more whose lives were touched by him.
Ben was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Willard and Rosalie Davis; his maternal grandparents, Cecil and Virginia Vowell; his Uncle, Timothy Vowell and his Aunts, Kimberly Vowell and Joann Rivera.
Ben is survived by his loving parents, Woody and Loretta Davis (Paragould, AR) and Brenda Vowell (Black Rock, AR); daughter, Kimberly Moya Webster (Jack); granddaughters, Elliana and Nova Webster and sisters, Millie Smith (Tommy) of Black Rock, AR and Sharon Aguirre (Abel) of San Antonio, TX. Ben also leaves behind nephews, nieces, aunts and uncles and a host of cousins who share in his kind and adventurous spirit.
Ben was employed at the Arkansas Department of Corrections.
He graduated from Jonesboro High School in 1993. After graduation, Ben enlisted in the United States Navy where he served for four years as a sonar technician. In 1998, Ben enlisted into the United States Army where he served post 911 for five years as an intelligence analyst. He dedicated 11 years serving in the Army Reserve where he balanced his career with raising his daughter. He traveled extensively throughout the world, where he enjoyed scuba diving in the Pacific coast and exploring exotic cuisine in Asia. Ben received a certificate of Computer Science (2005) and a bachelor's degree in general studies from Arkansas State University (2016). Ben found joy in music. He was a talented bass guitarist. Ben often spent his spare time listening to music and reading books. He had an unquenchable search for knowledge and enjoyed researching topics of interest, specifically World War II and World history. His love for long hikes in nature reflects his adventurous and free spirit.
Although Ben's physical presence may no longer be with us, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May his memory be a blessing and may we carry forth his legacy of love and strength in all that we do.
Honored to serve as his pallbearers are Tommy Smith, Abel Aguirre, Aaron Cole, Justin Cole, Adam Aguirre and Alijah Aguirre.
The family will receive friends at Harvest Baptist Church in Paragould, Arkansas on Thursday, March 13th from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, with the services following at 11:00. Graveside service will be held at Purcell Cemetery in Marmaduke, Arkansas.
