Victor Randolph

of North Little Rock, AR

October 1, 1956 - March 8, 2025

Victor Douglas Randolph, lovingly known as ''Papa Vic'', ''Daddy'', ''Papa'', ''Paw Paw Ick'', ''Bro Vic'', or to others known as just ''Vic'', of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on the evening of March 8th, peacefully, with his family by his side.

Vic was born to Douglas and Betty Randolph in 1956, soon after becoming older brother to Greg. The military took the family all around the country and even sent them for a short assignment to Japan. He was known for his lively imagination and had a knack for finding trouble. The family eventually settled in North Little Rock after their third son, Chris, arrived. Vic attended Faulkner University in Montgomery, Alabama, where he played baseball and made many lifelong friends including his wife of 38 years, Cindy Hendricks. After school, they returned to Arkansas where Vic worked for the Union Pacific Railroad in North Little Rock for the majority of his career before retiring in 2010.

Vic was known for his charisma, which allowed him to befriend anyone. He was a vivid storyteller and continued to have uncanny adventures that kept us all entertained. Vic loved his three daughters more than anything in the world and being their dad was his greatest accomplishment. Compared to Vic, it would be nearly impossible for any man to be more proud of his family.

Vic's absence will be felt most by his three daughters, Kaylyn (husband, Eric) Terry, Tori (husband, Alex) Finley and Sara (husband, Julian) Kidd and his six grandchildren, Grace, Khloe, Judah, Ophelia and two more babies coming in summer 2025. He leaves behind his closest friend and younger brother, Chris Randolph, as well as many other friends and extended family members. Vic was preceded in death by and is now joyfully reunited with his parents, Doug and Betty and his younger brother and longtime partner in crime, Greg.

He will be dearly missed by friends from all seasons of his life, particularly his friends at McLarty Auto Group, with whom he spent the last few years working and transferring vehicles around the country: a job he took great pride and joy in.

When Vic wasn't transferring vehicles, he was spending time with his children and grandchildren, perusing old bookstores or enjoying a meal at Waffle House. His zeal for life was evident in his ability to be genuinely excited about all the small things it had to offer.

A celebration of life service will be held in his honor on Saturday, March 15th at 10:00 am at Central Church of Christ in the Worship Center with a brunch to follow in the Family Life Center, 823 W 6th St. Little Rock, AR 72201.

Additionally, all who knew and loved Victor are welcome to attend a come and go gathering at the Rail Yard LR from 4:00-7:00 pm on Saturday evening March 15th to further share stories and memories with one another in Vic's honor. 1212 E 6th St. Suite 1, Little Rock, AR 72202

Flowers may be sent to Central Church of Christ or a donation may be made to your local animal shelter in Victor's honor.
