Patrick Royce Simpson, 57, of Bono, AR, passed away Monday, March 3, 2025, at St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro, AR. He was born July 16, 1967, in Jonesboro. Royce served in the U.S. Air Force and worked as an orthotist for Snell Prosthetics and Ortho. He loved hunting, fishing, sports car meetups with the Arkansas Z Club, hiking, canoeing and football, especially watching the Chicago Bears.

Royce was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Simpson, and his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Those left behind to cherish the wonderful memories of Royce include his wife of four years, Retia (Burden) Simpson; his mother, Patricia Manus Pyles; a son, Ryan (Rachel) Simpson; a daughter, Kayla (Jason) Knight; two grandchildren, Rivers and Ashton; a sister, Stacy (Cary) Thompson; and a nephew, Jared (Liz) Thompson.

A memorial service will be held at Walnut Street Baptist Church, 1910 Scenic Rd. Jonesboro, AR 72401, on Saturday, March 8, 2025, beginning at 2:00pm with Will Nicholes officiating.
