David Lynn Bennett, Sr., age 66, of Bee Branch Arkansas passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Clinton, Arkansas on January 8, 1959 to the late Floyd W. Bennett and Wilma Oliger Bennett.

David was a welder/lead person at Virco for 17 years, then he moved on to truck driving across the country. David loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his 4-wheeler, but he found his true happiness in his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

David is preceded in death by his two brothers, Billy Bennett and Floyd Jr. Bennett.

David is survived by his wife, Shirley Bennett of 47 years; his daughter, Melissa (Toney) Hawkins of Center Ridge; two sons, Lynn (Angela) Bennett of Cleveland and Jamie Bennett; one brother, Coleman (Diana) Bennett; two sisters, Wanda Bryant (Charles) Mozingo and Rebecca (Philip) Gatlin; one sister-in-law, Sue Bennett; thirteen grandchildren, Bryan (Abi) Bennett, Dalton (Alex) Bennett, Eathan Bennett, Toney Hawkins Jr, Tyler (Nalea) Hawkins, Hailey Hawkins, Breonna Hawkins, Brooklyn (Cameron) Passmore, Landon Isbell; eight great-grandchildren, Jovi Bennett, Baby Bennett on the way, Jace Cossey, Adalyn Passmore, Kayden Passmore, Ava Hawkins, Hazel Hawkins, Taleigha Hawkins and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be at 10am Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier with the funeral service following at 11am.
