Benny Walton Risner, 85, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away February 22, 2025. He was born June 5, 1939 at Mountain View, Arkansas to Roy and Bonita (Ramsey) Risner. He was a member of Flatwoods Missionary Baptist Church. He taught mathematics at Mountain View High School for 35 years and also worked for the U.S. Forest Service at Blanchard Springs Caverns.

He is survived by his daughters, Patricia Ross and husband, Robert of Fox, AR and Lesia Morris and husband, Wayne of Mountain View, AR; son, Brad Risner and wife, Leah of Farmington, AR; grandchildren, Matt Ross and wife, Susan, Jordan Benny Ross and wife, Courtney, Anna Ross Hayes and husband, Dustin, Magen Morris Brown and husband, Christopher, Morgen Morris, Allison Risner Weaver and husband, Tyler and Braden Risner and wife, Hannah and great-grandchildren, Havyn Hubberd, Landry Richardson, Marlee Kait Richardson, Oakley Jo Ross, Stone Ross, Carmen Ross, Camille Ross, Channing Benny Ross, Caroline Ross, Calvin Ross, Caellum Ross, CeCe Belle Ross, Jonah Hayes, Khloe Hayes, Kinlee Brown, Konner Brown, Ruby Jayne Brown and Peyton Copeland Risner.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cloyce Elizabeth Risner; parents, Roy and Bonita Risner and sister, Lula Bell Wallace.

A private family service will be held in his honor. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fredonia Cemetery fund at Centennial Bank.
