John Daniel "Dan" Patterson 66 of Little Rock, passed away suddenly on February 3, 2025. He was born in Camden, Arkansas to Daniel Webster Patterson Jr and Jeanette McAlister Patterson.
He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, and beloved brother, James Conrad "Jim" Patterson. He is survived by 3 sons, Noah Daniel Patterson, Micah Webster Patterson, and Eli David Patterson, all of Little Rock; sister, Helen Elizabeth Patterson Aregood (Chris) of Camden; nephews, Donald Maxfield and John Aregood; niece, Mary Aregood and a host of nieces and nephews.
Dan was a believer in Jesus Christ and he lived his life as a reflection of this. He was raised in Elliott Baptist Church where he was saved and baptized. He had a great love of The Word of God from an early age which continued to guide and define his life. He was a present and longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church in Little Rock, where he taught Sunday School and was involved in various ministries.
Dan graduated from Camden Fairview High School in 1977; he excelled in academics and basketball. He graduated from Ouachita Baptist University where he was a member of The Beta Men's Social Club. He was a 38-year employee of Health Scope / UMR, and most recently worked on the OnBase Team as a System Administrator. His greatest passion was for his sons, spending many treasured and special times with them; his boys were the light of his life.
A memorial service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church in Little Rock, AR, on Saturday, February 15 at 11:00 am.
Dan's wishes were to be cremated. A private family graveside service will be held at Mt Horeb Cemetery in Camden, AR in the future months.
