Christopher was the oldest son of Grant Fletcher and Virginia Nebeker, born on January 21, 1950 in Sonoma, California. His father was a doctor and his mother a nurse. After high school, he went on to graduate pre-med from Stanford and then attended medical school at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He earned a family medicine specialty from UC Davis outside Sacramento. His work took him to Colorado and later to Missouri.

Linda was the youngest child and the only daughter of John Layton and Lizzie Ilean Kyles, born on January 28, 1949 in Yellville, Arkansas. Her father was a logger and her mother a homemaker. She and her three older brothers, along with their mom and dad, often spent their summers in California during fruit harvesting. Early on she was a homemaker and eventually a paralegal for a large law firm in Denver, Colorado, where she later took on the role as their HR director.

The two met in Colorado and married in Hawaii on May 23, 1994. Chris enjoyed skiing, biking and spending time in the mountains. He was known for his caring personality, kind demeanor and ability to make everyone around him laugh.

Linda loved spending time with her grandchildren, taking care of her many plants and outdoor flowers. She had an amazing green thumb. She was known for her wonderful cooking, baking, witty humor and most importantly, her love for her family.

They are survived by their daughter, Kim Walker (Mike Martin) of Flippin, AR; son, Kyle Dillard (Shauna) of Milnesand, NM; six grandchildren, Drake, Zane, Riley, Ethen, Taylor and Brynn; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Christopher is also survived by three brothers, Stephen, Michael and Jeffrey. He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
Linda is also survived by one brother, Russell Layton (Marie). She was preceded in death by her mother, father and two brothers, Billy Layton (Betty) and Bob Layton (Mary Jo).
