Dorothy Abate, age 80, passed away on February 4, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born on October 10, 1944, and was raised in Oceanside, New York.

Dorothy worked as a librarian throughout her career and will be remembered for her kind nature, dedication to family, and her love of books. Sharing events and holidays with family and friends gave Dorothy cherished memories.

She leaves behind two brothers, Ronald and Anthony, and a sister, Eleanor. She is also survived by six nieces, two nephews, a great-niece, and two great-nephews.

A private graveside service will be held in Conway, Arkansas, where she will be laid to rest.
