February 28, 1997 - February 5, 2025
It is with profound sorrow we announce the death of Robinson Scott Barnes, beloved son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin. He passed away on February 5, 2025 at the age of 27. Born on February 28, 1997 in Mountain Home, Arkansas, Robinson was known for his tender heart, easy going nature and bright blue eyes. At a young age, he was lovingly nicknamed ''Robo".
Robinson graduated from Catholic High School in 2015 and went on to attend the University of Central Arkansas, where he graduated with honors in 2019 with a degree in biology. He was not only very smart-he was also extremely witty. His sisters referred to him as their ''goofball''.
Robinson worked at Pleasant Valley Country Club, starting as a cart boy during high school and ultimately becoming an assistant golf professional. Loyal and eager to serve, Robinson touched the lives of many at the Club, where the members and staff became like a second family to him.
Robinson is survived by his loving family: his parents, Greg Barnes and Robyn Nosari (James McManners); his brothers, Mac (Emily), Connor (Emily) and Armando ''Yeimer'' (Brooke); his sisters, Mary-Claire Hahn (Micah) and Olivia Moreno (Asaf); nieces, Johanna Lilian, Norah Elizabeth, Charlotte Mae, Anna Claire and Elle Rose; nephew, August Samuel; grandparents, Dr. Robert and Judy Nosari; aunts and uncles, Lindsey Blevins (Wayne), Stacey Willard (Mike), Scott Barnes, Robert Nosari (Susan) and Christopher Nosari (Kelley); Godparents, Gervais and Sharon LeBlanc; and a plethora of cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Chuck and Suzanne Barnes.
Robinson was baptized in Christ in Mountain Home, Arkansas at Redeemer Lutheran Church on April 27, 1997. His faith journey continued as he attended church, Sunday School and Christ Lutheran School; he made a public confirmation of his faith May 22, 2011 at Christ Lutheran Church. Robinson's confirmation verse reminds us, ''He said to me: 'It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life.''' - Revelation 21:6
A private service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church on Sunday, February 9th with inurnment at Riverwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in his honor to Christ Little Rock School, where he attended kindergarten through eighth grade.
