Kathryn Coffman

of Bono, AR

Kathryn Coffman, 82, of Bono, AR, passed from this life into the glory of Heaven on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. She was born on September 5, 1942, in Trumann, AR, to Fred and Ruth (Tippitt) Lane. Kathryn was a minister for 67 years, beginning her ministry at the age of 15, preaching revivals throughout Chicago, Missouri, and Arkansas. Her ministry included singing gospel music and playing the piano with The Evening Light Trio, and then with her husband for 45 years as The Gospel Heirs. She was a member of Spruce Street Church. She had a deep love and commitment for the Lord that showed not only in her ministry, but also in her other job positions as the bookkeeper for her husband's company, C&G Tractor Company, as an Avon distributor, and as a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Les Coffman; her parents; brothers Troy Goodwin, Garland Goodwin, and Fred Lane; and a nephew, Daniel Goodwin.

Left to cherish the memory of Kathryn are her son and daughter in law, Tim and Licinda Ohler; grandchildren Dwayne (Kristy) Ohler, Nathan Ohler, Faith (Ronnie) Medrano, and Faith Nicole Ohler; great grandchildren Kailey, Brayson, Malakye, Hallie, Fletcher, Asher, and Chevy Ohler and Jeremiah Medrano; and several friends, and loved ones.

A funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home (1900 W. Washington Ave. Jonesboro, AR 72401) with Brother Randy Page officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Bono.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025, from 5-7pm at Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Johnny Goodwin, Josh Goodwin, Roger Cambron, Ray Griffin, Vaughn Russell, and Jerry Thompson.

Arrangements are under the care of Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home.
