Carrell ''Lynn'' White, born on October 7, 1952, was sent to his eternal home on February 3, 2025 at age 72. He was born in Conway, Arkansas to Carrell Emerson White and Eleanor Corrine White. He was a proud resident of Vilonia, Arkansas and graduated from Vilonia High School in 1970. Carrell married Nancy Claudette Stanton on July 30, 1971. He and Nancy had three children: sons, Brian White, Bradley White and Jay White. He was a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. Lynn is preceded in death by parents, Carrell Emerson White and Eleanor Corrine White; sister, Cathryn Gayle Carper and brother, William Carrell White. Lynn is survived and missed by his loving wife, Nancy; three sons, Brian, Bradley and Jay; daughter in law, Paige; two granddaughters, Hannah and Jocelin; many nieces, great nieces, great great nieces, nephews, great nephews, cousins and countless friends. He taught Agriculture for 28 years at Cabot High School and was a Hunters Safety Educator for many years. He was a proud member of the National FFA Organization. Lynn received his master's degree in education in 1986. Some of his life achievements include receiving his Honorary Doctorate Degree from the State Chapter of the FFA, receiving Outstanding Teacher of the Year and Program awards, Vilonia FFA Farm Family of the year, he served 1978-2004 as an FFA Advisor and received the FFA Blue and Gold award for the Cabot AR Chapter. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and spending time on the family farm. He loved spending time with family and friends. We sadly say goodbye to Carrell, a man who dedicated his life to making a difference. He was a beacon of knowledge and inspiration who touched the lives of countless students and co-workers. His passion for Agriculture was infectious and he offered support and encouragement, even beyond the classroom. His legacy lives on in the minds of those he taught and his memory will continue to inspire future generations. His family and teaching were his two biggest passions. Lynn had the ability to bring a smile to everyone he met. He would offer a helping hand or listening ear to anyone in need and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National FFA Association.
There will be a visitation on Friday, February 7, 2025 from 6-8pm at Roller McNutt Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 starting at 10am at Roller McNutt Funeral Home with burial following the service going to Oak Grove Cemetery where Mr. White will be laid to rest.
