Leroy Dement, age 91, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR. He was born on April 5, 1933, in Bono, AR, to Cleo and Lillie (Tinker) Dement. Leroy was a lifelong farmer but ultimately retired from Arkla Gas. He was of the Church of Christ faith. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 70 years, Mary; his parents; son Randy Dement; and brothers Evert Dement, William Dement, Troy Dement, and Jerry Dement.

Those left behind to cherish the wonderful memory of Leroy are his sons Robin (Judith) Dement, Ron Dement, and Rodney (LeAnn) Dement; grandchildren Christopher, Joshua, Jarrod, Randa, Jody, Ethan, and Mary-Andrea;12 great grandchildren; and many more family, friends and loved ones.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home (1900 W. Washington Ave. Jonesboro, AR 72401) with Brock Kendall officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Cemetery in Bono.

Visitation will precede the service beginning at 1pm.

Arrangements are under the care of Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home.
