Nub Nehus, 59, of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on December 1, 1965 in Booneville, Arkansas to his parents, Bobby and Catherine (Elsken) Nehus.

Nub worked for over 36 years at International Paper in Fort Smith, most recently as the maintenance manager. He enjoyed living on his farm on Corley Loop tending to his cattle with Bequita and riding side by sides on Mount Magazine. But most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, whether it was following his sons while playing sports or most recently enjoying being a grandpa to his first grandchild.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one brother, Rick Nehus.

He is survived by his wife of over 33 years, Bequita (Johnson) Nehus of Paris; two sons, Dalton Nehus and wife, Kady of Paris and Wyatt Nehus of Russellville; one sister, Linda Wooten of Paris; numerous nieces and nephews and his grandson, Beckett Nehus and his second grandson expected later this year, Kaysen.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 31, 2025 at First Baptist Church in Paris officiated by Rev. Harlin Brewton. Burial will follow in Corley Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

Pallbearers will be Steve Forbis, Steve Layes, David Fitzjurls, John Warren, Wesley White, Kenny Taylor and Donnie Taylor.

Honorary pallbearer will be Paul Ahrns.
