Kenneth Bailey, age 81, of Conway, Arkansas passed away peacefully on January 20, 2025 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born in Morrilton to Lucille and Joe Bailey, Kenneth was a devoted husband, brother and friend whose life was marked by faith, integrity and a unique sense of humor. Kenneth had a long and successful career in the oil industry in Texas and Oklahoma before retiring home to Arkansas to farm and raise cattle. In later years, he could be found most days on the golf course or tending to his yard. A dry sense of humor was Kenneth's trademark and he delighted in playfully teasing family and friends with clever insults that somehow left everyone smiling.

A member of Central Baptist Church, Kenneth loved his church family and rarely missed an opportunity to worship with them. His Christian faith was the cornerstone of his life and he was committed to sharing that faith with others. Over the years, Kenneth taught numerous Bible classes, leaving a lasting impact on many lives. He possessed a deep understanding of Scripture and his dedication to sharing God's Word will be remembered by many as his greatest legacy.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth is predeceased by a sister, Linda McKim; a sister-in-law, Jeanie Staton and a niece, Laura Stanton.

Kenneth is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Peggy Griffin Bailey. Other surviving family members are Gayle and Glenn Austin, Jan and Kent Griffin, Gary Stanton, Jim McKim, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A private family graveside service is planned for a later date.
