Annis Lee Fouts, age 92, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away January 4, 2025.
She was born September 19, 1932, in Henderson, Arkansas to the late Hillary and Myrtle Fouts.
She graduated from Mountain Home High School in 1950. She received a BA at Ouachita Baptist University in 1961 and later attended Peabody University for Teachers in Nashville, Tennessee.
Annis taught Vocational Business at Flippin High School for 26 years. She was later employed by H+R Block and Plumlee Tire as a Bookkeeper. She enjoyed visits with her friends and family and reading her Bible and Christian Books.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Jim (Noeleen) Fouts, and Bob (Cleo) Fouts.
Annis is survived by 2 nieces, Penne (Kenneth) Smith, and Peggy (Dave) Almond, three nephews, Mike (Marge) Fouts, Randy (Janet) Fouts, and Steve (Karen) Fouts, and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews. The family would like to acknowledge her special friends, Theresa Smith and Rich Carlson for their loving care and support.
Annis was a member of the First Baptist Church, Mountain Home, and also attended Christ Community Church, Mountain Home.
Visitation for Ms. Fouts will be Monday, January 13, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, at Roller Funeral Home in Mountain Home, with a funeral service immediately following at 11:00 am with Tad Rogers officiation.
Burial will follow in Baxter Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Brian Smith, Wyatt Smith, James Kerr, Aidan Kerr, Donald Cranor and John Schulte.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First Baptist Church or a charity of your choice.
