Jo Scott, a resident of Little Rock, died Monday, Jan. 6, 2025. She was 94.

Born and raised in Tullahoma, TN, Jo moved to Arkansas after marrying the love of her life, Hot Springs native Perry Scott. She embraced life in her adopted state, becoming an avid Razorback fan who rooted for the Hogs even against the Volunteers.

After raising two sons, Jo went to work at The BridgeWay. In retirement she enjoyed traveling, playing bridge and doting on her granddaughter.

A woman of faith, Jo was a dedicated member of First Baptist Little Rock.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Perry; son, Mark Scott; parents, Clara and Elza Jenkins and five siblings. She is survived by her son, Rick Scott; granddaughter, Ashley Groshong (Danny); great grandson, Kai Groshong; sisters, Sara Ivey and Judy Labelle and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral is at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14th, Jo's 95th birthday; visitation is at noon. Both will take place in the Chapel at First Baptist, 62 Pleasant Valley Drive.
