Dolyne S Keller,78, of Wildwood, CA went to be with Our Lord, December 24,2024. She was born December 17, 1946, in San Jose CA to Raymond and Marlys Smith.

Dolyne was preceded in death by her late husband, James Keller; her mother, Marlys Smith; her father, Raymond Smith, and brother, Dave Smith.

Dolyne was a very intelligent, intellectual, and meticulous with everything she spoke or did. After she graduated college, she became an IBM key punch hole operator and started her family. Later in years she was a writer/editor for a newspaper and did part time work as an accountant.

After she retired, her and her husband bought 10 Acres in the beautiful Trinity Alps in Northern CA, known for their Big Redwoods. Wildwood Ca became their sanctuary for the next 30years.

Dolyne was a fierce independent woman and loved the outdoors. She gardened and kept her homestead tidy and absolutely loved the critters. They had a beautiful wrap around treehouse porch where they kept their family of critters fed for years. She loved to look outside and watch all the racoons and their babies, the squirrels, the birds, the deer, and even the occasional bear.

She was the most honest and honorable woman you would ever meet, but wasn't afraid to speak her mind, but would give you the shirt off her back if she had it.

She was a beautiful human and will be missed dearly.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Yolanda Atkins; her brother, Doug Smith; her sister, Lauree Ladd; her grandchildren, Candace Lopez and David Singh, and her great grandchildren, Bentlee, Jackson, Malakai, and Julian; her nephew, Jason Smith, and her best friends, Billy D. and Jimmy N., as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
