of Mountain Home, AR
March 29, 1960 - December 29, 2024
It is with deep heartache that we announce the passing of Reggie Holland, 64, at his home in Mountain Home, Arkansas on December 29, 2024. Reggie was a loving husband, father, brother and friend. His humor, often sprinkled with colorful language, brought delight and amusement to anyone around him, while his honesty and loyalty left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Family was Reggie's greatest treasure and his love for them was both profound and unwavering. He is survived by his beloved wife, Judy, of 33 years; his son, Mitchell and daughter-in-law, Gabriela; his sister, Karen Glenn and her husband, Colin; his niece, Allison and nephew, Andrew. He is also survived by his brother, Kimmet Holland and his wife, Kathy; his niece, Katie Holland and her fiancé, Sean Perez, along with their sons, Asher and Radley; his nephew, Christian Holland and his wife, Renee, as well as their children, Finn and Zoey and his nephew, Daniel Holland. The family of his late brother, Hollis, also survives him, including nephew, Nathaniel Holland and his wife, Michelle and their sons, Nolan and Bodhi. Judy's family held a special place in his heart: her brother, Bob Ward and his wife, Sheila; her niece, Amy Wills and her husband, Andy, along with their sons, Murray and Henry and her nephew, Dan Ward and his sons, Ledger and Emerson.
Reggie was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Daphine Holland; his brother, Hollis Holland and Judy's parents, Bill and Evelyn Ward.
Professionally, Reggie built a career in sales with aggregate and ready-mix companies, forming lifelong bonds with colleagues who became dear friends. In his later years, he was a proud participant in the Jonesboro Elks Lodge, where he found a vibrant community that was a wonderful addition to his life.
Reggie's life was enriched by the love of his close friends, Brian Clairday, Billy Greenwood, Paul Johnston, Kenneth ''Buttermilk'' Wyatt, Steve Ballard, David Henry, John McQuay, Roger Griffin, Bill Brickey and John Wood.
It would be remiss not to mention Reggie's two favorite pets, Minnie, now deceased and Marble, who held a special place in his heart. Older friends, Jim and Teresa Rowe and Bill Clark, also deserve acknowledgment for their meaningful presence in his life. Reggie will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his loyalty, laughter and love that knew no bounds.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 11, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at the Jonesboro Elks Lodge. Please RSVP no later than Friday, January 10th to daughter-in-law, Gabriela at 918-859-8819 or close friend, Teresa Rowe at 870-476-6093. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to Be the One Ministries, an important cause close to his heart, at https://give.betheoneministries.com/missions-giving, and selecting The Hollands.
