Master Sergeant Dennis James Vinacco, 73, of Greenbrier, Arkansas went home to be with the Lord, December 28, 2024. Dennis was the middle child of the late Joseph Frank Vinacco and Domenica Vinacco and was born April 1, 1951 in Providence, Rhode Island.

Dennis is survived by his four siblings, Marlene (Joe) Mega, Louis Satorio, Diana (Jack) McHale and Kenneth (Paula) Vinacco; His two sons, Dennis James Vinacco Jr., Collins Jay Vinacco and his daughter, Angelina Domenica (Collin) Small. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Dalton Vinacco, Tanner Vinacco and Ryhen Renae Small.

Dennis received his first Holy Communion in St. Edwards Church on May 9, 1959. In 1963, at the age of 11, he was the youngest boy ever to win a Rhode Island Soap Box Derby.

He graduated in 1970 from Mount Pleasant High School in Providence Rhode Island. In 1972 he joined the U.S. Army and retired after 30 years of federal service. His service included: two overseas tours in Korea, as well as stateside tours at Little Rock, Arkansas, Conway, Arkansas (2), Fort Gillem, Georgia, Miami, Florida, Fort Lauderdale, Florida (2), Providence, Rhode Island, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, Fort Dix, New Jersey and Fort Hood, Texas. Master Sergeant Vinacco's awards and decorations included the Legion of Merit, the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal (Second Award), the Army Good Conduct Medal (Fifth Award), the Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal (Second Award), the National Defense Service Medal (Second Award), the Noncommissioned Officer's Professional Development Ribbon (with numeral 3), the Army Service Ribbon and the Army Reserve Components Overseas Training Ribbon (Second Award). Master Sergeant Vinacco was commended for his outstanding service to the nation, culminating with his assignment as the Senior Brigade Noncommissioned Officer, Detachment 1, 420th Engineer Battalion, III Corps.

In his spare time Dennis enjoyed golfing, working on cars and watching his children and grandchildren play sports. He had a passion for music which led to a successful karaoke business in which he was often referred to as ''Mr. Karaoke''. Dennis was loved by many and will always be remembered for his fascinating stories and captivating personality.

The family wishes to honor the life of Dennis James Vinacco on January 3, 2025 as visitation will be at 2:00pm, with a Memorial Service held at 3:00pm located at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, 115 Broadview, Greenbrier, Arkansas.
