William D. Wood, 41, of Sulphur Rock passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024.

He was born December 11, 1983 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Tracy Wood and Linda Henry Wood.

William attended Batesville High School. He loved his dogs and enjoyed fishing, gaming, riding the side by side, going camping and to the movies.

Survivors include his mother, Linda Henry Wood (Gary Hawkins) of Batesville; his wife of 10 years, Chantel Branscum Wood of the home; half-brother, Airek Undurand of Minnesota; aunt, Paula Henry Terrell (Norman) of Batesville and cousins, Melita Terrell Pierce (Todd) of Colorado, Melanie Terrell Walsh (Tim) of Fayetteville, Lindsey Lefler (Lawrence) of Oregon and James Kruger Lefler (Randal) of Searcy. Along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tracy Wood; aunt, Mary Henry; grandparents, Paul and Virginia Southerland Henry and great-grandparents, J.K. and Cleo Southerland.

Pallbearers are J.K. Lefler, Jim Edd Bechdoldt, Nathan Lucas, Colby Gregory, Peyton Gregory and Sean Ramirez. Honorary pallbearers will be Graham Stafford, Gary Hawkins, Junior Hawkins and Norman Terrell.

Funeral services will begin at 2:00pm Friday, January 3, 2025 at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home with Eddie Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00pm Friday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made in his honor to the Humane Society of Independence County, 5 Environmental Drive, Batesville, AR 72501.
