Angie Waddle Johnson

of North Little Rock, AR

February 14, 1966 - December 27, 2024

Angie Waddle Johnson, 58, of the Oak Grove community in North Little Rock entered her heavenly home on December 27, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.

Born on February 14, 1966 to Jim and JoAnn Waddle in Little Rock, Arkansas, Angie grew up in Oak Grove, where she forged lifelong friendships. A proud graduate of Oak Grove High School's Class of 1984, she remained in the same community throughout her life, filling it with joy, kindness and unwavering love.

One of Angie's greatest joys was becoming a mother to her beloved daughter, Kaylee and later, ''Grammy'' to her two perfect grandsons. Her passion for motherhood was unparalleled and in 2002, her love story grew when she married Rich Johnson. Their marriage of 22 years was marked by enduring love, shared faith and countless cherished memories.

Angie's life was a shining reflection of her deep faith in Christ. She fought the good fight, finished her race and kept the faith, shining the light of Jesus everywhere she went. Despite facing health challenges, Angie's unwavering trust in God gave her the strength to persevere. Her famous acrostic, FROG-''Fully Rely on God''-was not just a tattoo but a way of life, inspiring those around her to live with faith, hope and resilience.

Angie was a source of light and joy to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Whether through her warm smile, kind words or acts of service, she made a profound impact on everyone she met. Her faith and love for others were a testament to her Savior, leaving a legacy that will continue to bless her family, friends and community.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Rich Johnson; her loving daughter, Kaylee Williams Hilliard (Drake); her treasured grandsons, Dakota and Maddox; her parents, Jim and JoAnn Waddle; her stepson, Paul Johnson (Fran) and his children, Brenden, Anthony, Maddi and Miranda; her sister, Suzi Waddle Ashley (Wayne); her brother, Bryan Waddle (Leann); three cherished nieces, Savannah Waddle McKenzie, Cassidy Waddle and Alyssa Rosati Miller; her nephew, Anthony Rosati and a host of extended family and dear friends.

Angie was preceded in death by her beloved stepdaughter, Kym Baczek, whose memory she treasured deeply.

The family would like to thank Dr. Brad Baltz for the exceptional care and compassion he provided to Angie throughout her journey.

A Going Home Celebration will be held in her honor on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at Graves Memorial Baptist Church, 4617 Oak Grove Road, North Little Rock at 10:00 AM. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, December 30, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Graves Memorial Baptist Church, where Angie was a lifelong member.

Angie's life was a testament to love, faith and perseverance. Though her presence will be deeply missed, her legacy of faith, love and joy lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.
