Douglas Gene Kilpatrick, 67, of Searcy, Arkansas passed from this life on Friday morning, December 6, 2024 at his home. He was born in Topeka, Kansas on September 17, 1957 to his parents, Edward Gene and Georgia Lea Barton Kilpatrick.

Douglas is preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his brother, Keith (Mary) Kilpatrick of Ward, Arkansas and his sister, Teresa (Daniel) Bailey of Vilonia, Arkansas.

He was a quiet type of person and worked as Self-Employed in Retail Sales for much of his life. He was an avid reader and book collector and was interested in many types of books.
