Jeffrey Mark Clark

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Mark Clark, a beloved father, brother and friend, who departed this life on December 7, 2024 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born on June 26, 1 955 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas Jeffrey lived a life marked by hard work and a profound appreciation for the great outdoors.

Jeffrey was the son of the late Anna Mae Freeman Smith and Odis Edgar Clark who instilled in him the values of perseverance and honesty. He was preceded in death his two sisters, Mary Ann Redd Terrell and Brenda Carter and his precious first grandchild, Olivia Mary Clark. He was married to Sandra Gail Horton for 23 years. Together, they created a beautiful family that will carry forward their legacy.

He is survived by his three children, Jacob Wesley Clark, Amanda Rae Gourgeon, and Joshua Dwaine Clark and five grandchildren, Lincoln Scott Clark, Owen Samuel Clark, Calvin Lewis Clark, Emilie Diana Gourgeon and Antoine Olivier Gourgeon. Jeffrey leaves behind a family united in their love for their family and the memories they shared. He was not only a father but also a guiding light in their lives, teaching them the importance of hard work and the joy of being in nature.

Growing up, Jeffrey was an avid equestrian and formidable bull riding competitor. He graduated from Joe T. Robinson High School, where he laid the foundation for a life dedicated to craftsmanship and service. He found fulfillment in his career as a mechanic at L'OreaI USA, where his skills and work ethic were highly regarded by colleagues and friends.

Outside of work, Jeffrey was a passionate outdoorsman who loved hunting and spending time in nature. He found solace in the beauty of the world around him. He had an enthusiasm for life and embraced the simple joys that nature offers.

On December 12, 2024 a memorial service will be held at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 1-30, Little Rock, AR 72209 from 10:30am to 12pm where friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate Jeffrey's life.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff at The Parkway Health Center, The Ginny and Bob Shell Center, and Baptist Hospice for their compassionate care during Jeffrey's final days.

As we remember Jeffrey Mark Clark, let us honor his memory by cherishing the love he shared, the lessons he taught and the spirit of adventure he inspired in all of us. He will forever remain in our hearts, guiding us as we navigate the trails of life he so loved.
