Louetta ''Lou'' Jean (Hall) Adcock, 69, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away at her home on December 4, 2024. Louetta was born on August 3, 1955 in Illinois to the late Herschal and Margaret (Patnode) Hall. Lou graduated from Mountain View High School and earned her Master's Degree in Business. In addition to being an Army cook, she loved animals and worked as a dog breeder as well as kenneling dogs. Lou enjoyed spending time with her family and was of the Baptist faith. She will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.
Lou is survived by one daughter, Shelbi Anne Moody and husband, Travis Wayne of Mountain View, Arkansas; granddaughter, Angela Nicole Engle and husband, Hubert Jack III of Mountain View, Arkansas; one sister, Frances Annette Swafford and husband, Dwayne of Mountain View, Arkansas; nephews, Ethan Hall and wife, Larissa, Erik Hall and wife, Savannah both of Mountain View, Arkansas; great-nieces, Natalee Hall, Zelda Hall, Libby Hall, Sydney Rogers and husband, Aaron, Katherine Swafford; great-nephews, Logan Hall, Hunter Hall, Brayden Hall and Andrew Swafford; great-great niece, Oakley Rogers as well as many extended family and friends.
Lou is preceded in death by her parents, Herschal and Margaret (Patnode) Hall; Jimmy Adcock, the love of her life for 14 years, where she was more herself and happier than she'd ever been; brother, Daniel Hall of Mountain View, Arkansas; infant brother, Robert Hall and nephew, Dwayne Ray Swafford.
Lou was always saying and her quote for life was, ''The only thing you can do is deal with what you're dealt, pick up the pieces and move on.''
A celebration of life for Lou will take place at a later date.
