Mary Jane Harris, 74, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2024 in Alexander. She was born on January 15, 1950 to Jesse Fox and Ina Pearl Owens.

Mary had a huge heart and patience for most things. She loved those casino trips and her family. She did factory work in her early years but found her passion in helping others, especially elderly care. She had that gentle touch and patience that was felt with her passion for helping others. She retired from home health care after about 20 years in that career. She will be truly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Jerry Fox, Gary Fox and Jimmy Fox; two sisters, Linda Fox and Imogene Fox and a nephew, Larry Fox.

She is survived by two sons, Richard Harris and Keith Harris; a daughter, Lisa Andrews (Phillip); two sisters, Patricia Collins and Darlene Stuckey; six grandchildren, Tabitha Mercer, Drake Bagley, Jacob, Aaron, Ryan and Kattie; two great-grandchildren, Caden Mercer and Cash Mercer; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home, 6700 Alcoa Road, Benton, Arkansas 72015.

Burial will follow at the Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home of Benton.
