Frank Midkiff, a longtime resident of Lakeview, Arkansas, passed away on October 21, 2024, at the age of 81 after a long battle with cancer. Frank led a rich and fulfilling life, marked by his unwavering dedication to his family, country, state and community. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Conflict as a Gunnersmate onboard the Destroyer, USS Newman K. Perry (DD 883). After serving in the Navy, he became an Indiana State Trooper and was part of the Underwater Search and Recovery Team, eventually retiring as a Detective. Following his retirement from the Indiana State Police, he moved to Arkansas. An avid coffee drinker, Frank met Deb Mitchell at the Library Coffee Shop and she became his soulmate and twin flame for the next dozen years. He was an avid outdoorsman, ATV'er, scuba diver, and served with the Patriot Guard and the Blue Knights. He was a dedicated member and former president of the Corvettes of the Ozark, as well as an active member of the Elks Lodge. Frank also enjoyed touring the countryside in one of his many recreational toys. Frank is survived by Deb Mitchell; son, Scott Pajor; daughter, Lishia Irvin (son-in-law, Leonard Irvin). He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty (Twilla) Midkiff and daughter-in-law, Shelly Pajor.
Memorial Service will be held on November 2nd at 2:00pm at the Roller Funeral Home, 25 CR 27, Mountain Home, AR 72653. In lieu of flowers, the family requests you donate to Elks Lodge at elks.org, (select Elks National Foundation, Donate, ''I would like to direct my gift, Lodge number 1714) or Fraternal Order of Police at fop.net/fop-foundation or any other police or veteran organization of your choice to honor the rich life of Frank J.
