Barbara Sue (Sissy) Rollins Biggs Claussen
4/4/1941 - 10/22/2024 (83 years old)

Barbara Rollins Claussen, born in England, Arkansas to the late Newman and Pauline Rollins, was a woman known for her immense love, generosity and energy. Preceded in death by her parents, she is survived by her devoted husband of 19 years, Thomas Claussen.

Barbara leaves behind a loving family: her daughter, Deanna Rogers (Tom) and son, Dewayne Biggs; her stepdaughter, Karen Powell (Vince) and stepson, Randy Claussen. She was a proud grandmother to Zane Anderson (Nikki), Kayla Buffington (Chris), Nathan Biggs and Easton Rogers, along with her cherished great-granddaughter, Emryn. Barbara was also blessed with five step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, James Carrol Rollins

Since 2005, Barbara and Tommy have been active members of First Baptist Church of Sherwood where Barbara's vibrant spirit touched many. The couple participated in the Barnabas Bible class, learning about God's word together. Barbara had a special gift for never meeting a stranger- whether they were people or dogs. Her love for animals, especially her beloved Seeshe, was well known. Anyone who visited Barbara's home would leave with both a full heart and a full plate of food, as she found true joy in making others feel welcome and cared for.

Barbara had a deep passion for sports, especially her Arkansas Razorbacks. Her enthusiasm was so contagious that it often felt like the players could hear her cheering and coaching through the television. Her impressive collection of Razorback memorabilia filled an entire room, a testament to her dedication as a fan.

Every year, Barbara cherished reconnecting with her 1959 England High School classmates. The group would gather annually in Branson, Missouri where they shared fond memories and enjoyed each other's company.

The holidays were when Barbara truly shined. Her family fondly recalls the yearly challenge of bringing down countless boxes of decorations from the attic. Each holiday season seemed to bring a new box delivered to Tommy and Barbara's doorstep, expanding her already vast collection. Barbara's love for shopping, especially during her time working at Dillard's, was one of her many passions-often joking about "shopping on the clock".

Above all, Barbara loved her family. She took great joy in showering her husband, children and grandchildren with gifts, especially during Christmas, when she would famously exclaim, "just one more bag!". While Barbara was the ultimate people pleaser, always going above and beyond to make others happy, she also had a strong side. You always knew where you stood with her when it was needed.

Barbara's legacy of love, generosity and devotion to her family and friends will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.

Pallbearers -Zane Anderson, Easton Rogers, Nathan Biggs, Christopher Buffington, Jordan Powell and Tyler Powell
