Earl Epps

of Guy, AR

September 29, 1954 - September 16, 2024

Ulvie ''Earl'' Epps, 69, of Guy, Arkansas passed away on September 16, 2024. He was born in Scipio, Oklahoma on September 29, 1954 to Elmer Ray and Frances Margaret Epps.

Earl was a devoted husband and father and a strong provider. He loved music, especially reggae and blues. He was an individual and a rebel. He burned the candle at both ends in all aspects of his life and he made the most of his time here. He was a master carpenter and knew just about everything about working on cars and building houses. With a mind for engineering, he could figure out how anything worked and repair it. Everyone knew that if you needed something fixed, you had to call Earl. He was funny and had a huge heart and gave so much to so many, often at his own expense. ''They broke the mold when they made him'' was often uttered by people who met him. He met the love of his life when he was sixteen and they were never apart for the rest of his days.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer Epps and Frances Epps; brothers, Arly Epps, Ray Epps and sister, Betty O'Banion.

Earl is survived by his wife of 50 years, Debra Epps; children, Johnny Epps, Johanna Epps; grandchildren, Chloe Epps, Jackson Epps, Lila Epps; siblings, Lee Epps, Sue Dorado, Mary Gibson and many other family members and friends.
