Jennifer Ann Morton, age 48, of Little Rock, Arkansas went to her final resting place on Sunday September 8, 2024, after the result of a car accident. She was born August 12, 1976 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Jimmy and Judy Carol Bennett Morton.

She was a 1993 graduate of Mills High School in Little Rock, Arkansas and continued her education at the University of the Ozarks where she obtained a bachelor's degree. She later went through UAMS and got her license in respiratory therapy which then landed her a job at Arkansas Children's Hospital. She spent the next 24 years working there and had a passion for taking care of children. She was a member at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church and attended ladies' bible study at East Union Missionary Baptist Church, as well. She was a loving daughter, sister and aunt. She loved to spoil her nephews and made sure they always had exactly what they asked for.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Bill and Mable Morton, Russell and Peggy Bennett, and uncles, Lindsey Tipton and Danny Gibbs.

She leaves to cherish her memories; her parents, brother, Russell (Jamie) Morton; nephews, Jeremiah, Brantley, and Leo Morton, of Benton Arkansas; aunts, Charlotte Gibbs, Sandra Tipton, Brenda (Danny) McGinley, Shelia (Otto) Schmeckenbecher, all of Little Rock, Arkansas, Cindy (Ronnie) Cross, of Fort Worth, Texas and uncle, Hulen (Sharon) Morton, of Cabot, Arkansas, as well as a host of cousins and friends that will miss her dearly.

Pallbearers will be Arty Schmeckenbecker, Paul Schmeckenbecker, Jake McGinley, Christopher Gibbs, Dean Dancer, Ryan Stecks, Randy Willis and Jim Griffin.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Infant Toddler Unit (ITU) of Arkansas Children's Hospital.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church with burial to follow at Landmark Cemetery. Brother Paul Roberts and Brother David Robinson will be officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., at the church prior to the service.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the ER and trauma staff of UAMS, EMS, and Arkansas State Police for the care and compassion that was found during such a difficult time.
