William "Bill" Huber, born on April 2, 1937, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2024 at the age of 87. A devoted family man with a heart full of love and a touch of stubbornness, Bill was known for his unwavering dedication to those he held dear. He lived a life filled with passion for the simple joys: fishing, scratching lottery tickets and woodworking, a craft he mastered over the years.
Bill was a man of many talents, always eager to learn something new and took on countless hobbies throughout his life. He proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army, an experience that shaped him into the man he was-disciplined, strong and proud.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Cindy Redding-Gill and his cherished grandchildren, Ashley Descamp, Cortney Huber, Joey and Emily Huber, Garet Huber, Sammy and Carly Perez, Meagan and Lee Cooper. His son-in-law, Bill Barnett, also holds fond memories of Bill's presence and impact. Additionally, he is survived by his beloved furbabies, Charlie and Sunshine, who brought him endless joy and companionship in his later years.
Bill was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Terry Huber; his parents, Henry and Bertha Huber (Schmitz); his daughter, Christine Huber-Barnett and his four brothers and one sister.
Bill's legacy will continue to live on through the love and memories he left behind with his family, friends and furry companions. His kind spirit, love of life and willingness to take on new challenges will forever be remembered. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
