James Richard ''Rick'' Pachosa, 83, of Little Rock went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 26, 2024. He was born May 1, 1941 near Grand Coulee, Washington to the late Adolph William and Olive Mae (Christian) Pachosa. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Ann Pachosa, who died August 20, 2015; his son, James and sister, Dorothy Bretag.

James was a proud United States Air Force Veteran from 1958-1971, serving in the Vietnam War from 1966-1967. He was a retired, Journeyman Mechanic having worked for AO Smith and Weyerhaeuser.

He leaves to cherish his memory four children, Beth Wood and husband, Phillip, Harry Pachosa and wife, Starr, Eric Pachosa and Alice Harshaw all of Little Rock; eight grandchildren who lovingly called him ''Poppy''; six great-grandchildren; his pup, Lacey and a number of nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbors and friends.

Graveside service will be held Friday, August 30, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Forest Hills Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Drummond.

The family would like to thank the nursing staff and doctors at the SICU of Baptist Healthcare Little Rock, for all of the care, love and attention shown to James and the family during this time.
