January 18, 1944 - August 25, 2024

Daniel Ralph Tardiff, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend passed away August 25, 2024, aged 80. He was kind, loyal and his humor was cherished.
Daniel was born to Rudolph and Bertha Tardiff in Bristol, Connecticut. A proud alumnus of Central High School and the University of Maryland, he served in the Army for 20 years and retired as Sergeant First Class. He continued to serve his country as a civilian contractor training soldiers after he retired.
Daniel was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, the American Legion and the VFW.
He loved taking his family out for food. He enjoyed mystery and crime shows and British humor. He bribed his grandchildren with chocolate milk and ice cream, he enjoyed playing cribbage and tending to his orange cat, "Not My Cat", who became a part of his daily routine. His generosity knew no bounds among his family.
Daniel loved his wife of 24 years, Gertrude ''Trudy'' Tardiff who he continued to care for until his death. He is survived by Trudy; his son, Kyle (and Eyvette) Tardiff of Gassville, Arkansas and his daughter, Beth (and William) Baugh of Fort Smith, Arkansas. He leaves behind his cherished granddaughters, whom he affectionately called his "Sugar-Doodles", Hannah (and Bradley) Holloway, Mikayla Beck, Morgan Beck, Natalie Beck, Megan Tardiff and Aimee Tardiff. He is also survived by his grandsons, Trenton Tardiff, Andrew Tardiff, Wyatt Baugh, Harrison Baugh and his great-grandchildren Avery McClain, Kayson Cooper, Miles Werner, Desmond Holloway and Levi Holloway.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Bertha Tardiff and his sister, Carol Tardiff Testerman.
In honoring his life, we remember Daniel's favorite quote, ''Bah Humbug'', a testament to his unique sense of humor and perspective on life. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him.
