Jesse Leroy Shamblin, born on July 9, 1982, in Bigelow, Arkansas, later moved to Mabelvale, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at the age of 42. Jesse was the beloved son of late George ''Sonny'' Shamblin and the late Brenda Shamblin Mayle.
A proud graduate of Bigelow High School, Jesse spent his life in the community he loved. In February 2022, he began working at Brenda's Courier, where he became a valued member of the team. Jesse was known for his love of the outdoors, often spending his free time hunting, fishing and engaging in various sports. He also had a passion for working on vehicles and was always ready with a joke, bringing joy to those around him.
Jesse's life was full, even if it was not as long as many would have wished. He was surrounded by his loving wife and his loving son and a close friend in his final moments, a testament to the deep connections he formed throughout his life.
Jesse was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Shamblin Mayle; his brother, Danny Wayne Shamblin and his sister, Sarah (Kay) Olles.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Erica Shamblin, whom he married on December 21, 2019 and their young son, Ezekiel (Zeke) Shamblin, who was the light of Jesse's life at just 2 ½ years old. Jesse also leaves behind his stepfather, Glenn Mayle; Mother-In-law, Janet Parker; Father-In-Law, Richard Jeffcoat; Sisters, Jessica Ellington and Danyell Baker (Jason); Stepbrother, GJ Mayle; Stepsister, Candace Mayle; Sister-In-Law, Jamie Gamble; Brother-In-Law, David Wayne Olles and a host of loving nieces and nephews: Jaylynn Dedmon, Ginny Wade, Mate Wade, Nick Wade, Carson Shamblin, Alexis, Brayley, Braxton, Kaden, Kody, Kylie and Kamren.
Jesse's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Though his time with us was brief, his impact was profound and he will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
