Garold Wayne Rogers, affectionately known as ''Dobber,'' passed away peacefully at his home in Bee Branch, Arkansas on August 5, 2024. He was born on May 17, 1946 in Crabtree, Arkansas to the late William Lee and Nettie May (Page) Rogers.
Garold was a certified welder and a long-time member of the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union, Local 155. He was a man of faith attending Pleasant Valley General Baptist Church in Bee Branch.
He is preceded in death by his parents and six siblings.
Garold leaves behind his beloved wife of 53 years, Jackie Rogers; two cherished children, Shelly Rogers-Pack and her husband, Dennis Pack of Russellville and Nathan Wayne Rogers and his wife, Tyler Fletcher-Rogers of Greenbrier. He was a proud grandfather of two grandchildren, Skyler Wayne Pack and Denver Wayne Rogers. Dobber is also survived by two brothers, Glendale Rogers and Arnold Rogers; four sisters, Carolyn Johnson, Lou Archer, Velma Stane and Yvonne Jackson; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Garold will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Known for his great sense of humor and his ability to make everyone laugh, Dobber brought joy and light to every gathering. His legacy of laughter and love will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
