Dr. Bill Waldrip, 69, of Batesville passed away Sunday, July 28, 2024.
He was born September 3, 1954 in Batesville, Arkansas to William Jackson Waldrip, II and Helen (Nama) Waldrip.
Dr. Waldrip was a member of First United Methodist Church and was dedicated to his profession of practicing medicine for 37 years, making his patients his top priority. He was a 1972 graduate of Batesville High School and graduated from Lyon College and UAMS. Dr. Waldrip served his residency at St. Bernards. He loved his family, being with his close friends, and enjoyed going out to eat with them. Dr. Waldrip and his wife celebrated 39 years of marriage together. He also had a salt water aquarium that he loved to tend to.
Survivors include his wife, whom he married August 19, 1985, Diana (Graves) Waldrip of the home; one son, Zachary Waldrip of Little Rock; one daughter, Kaley Waldrip of Batesville; one brother-in-law, David Graves (Karen); two sisters-in-law, Maribeth Tucker (Jeff), and Mary Alice Waldrip, and several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jackson Waldrip, Sr.
Pallbearers are Dr. Andy Davidson, Paul Holifield, Dr. Bill Joseph, Dan Murphy, Steven Street, and Jackson Waldrip, Jr.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 11:00am at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Katie Pearce and Roger Hook officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
A visitation will be held Friday, August 9, 2024 at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home from 5:00pm until 7:00pm.
