Sandra ''Sandy'' Elaine Lux Hall, age 76, of Benton, Arkansas passed away on July 28, 2024.
Sandy was born on August 19, 1947 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Doris Ileen Edwards and Francis W. Martin. She attended St. Scholastica Academy in Fort Smith, Arkansas and graduated in 1965. She went on to earn a certificate in Transportation from Westark Community College. Sandy devoted her life to caring for her family as a wife, mother and Nana. She enjoyed gardening, antiquing, traveling adventures in the motorhome, but most especially, spending time with her children and grandchildren. Sandy was involved in Churches Joint Council on Human Needs (CJCOHN) and Habitat Restore. She was an active member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church for over 40 years where she volunteered her time and talents for countless events for her children and grandchildren.
Sandy is survived by her husband of 41 years, Paul Hall of Benton, Arkansas; her children, Kelley Shanabruch Law (Travis) of Carrollton, Georgia, Anthony Hall (Nicki) of Benton, Arkansas, Tiffany Hall Long (Keith) of Thomasville, Georgia; siblings, Linda Brown of Elizabethton, TN, Susan McManus of Charleston, South Carolina, Richard Lux (Julie) of Orlando, Florida, William Martin (Aida) of Simi Valley, California; her loving grandchildren, Joseph (Mary Jane), Caroline and Sophia Law, Landon and Lance Hall, Madison and Emily Long; her step-mother, Earline Martin of Lawrenceville, Georgia; special cousin, Edwin Taylor of Raleigh, North Carolina and several loving Lux cousins. She is preceded in death by her mother, Doris ''Dottie'' Cavanaugh; her adoptive father, Albert F. Lux; her father, Frank W. Martin and her loving Mamo, Bessie Grist.
A Rosary will be said on Wednesday, July 31st, 2024 at 6:00 PM followed by visitation from 6:30 until 8:00 PM at Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 1st, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Benton, Arkansas with Father Luke Womack officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School or Church. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the many doctors and nurses at CARTI Cancer Center and a special thanks to Jackie Collins, her loving nurse at Hospice Home Care's Comfort Care Center.
