Marty Stripeik

of Mountain Home, AR

March 21, 1937 - July 26, 2024

Mr. Marty Stripeik, 87, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024 in Mountain Home. He was born in Chicago, Illinois to Joseph D. and Anna (Corcoran) Stripeik.

Marty married Patricia (Patsy) Jurgil in 1958 and they shared 66 wonderful years together. He retired after over 30 years from Trans World Airlines (TWA), where he held the esteemed position of Regional Director of Maintenance East of the Mississippi.

A devout member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church for the past 32 years, Marty was deeply committed to his faith and community. One of his favorite hobbies was building and operating radio-controlled aircraft. In 1997, he and his son innovatively installed wireless mini cameras on one of their aircraft, enabling them to watch a live feed of the flight from their boat.

Marty's greatest devotion was to his wife, Patsy, whom he cared for with immense love and dedication. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Patsy; his two sons, David Peter Stripeik and Jim Stripeik and his daughter, Julie Ann Knisley. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

Marty will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
