Max Stephen ''Steve'' Lasley Sr., age 76, of Conway passed away at his home on Thursday July 25th.
Steve was born in North Little Rock to Max and Cleo Lasley on November 23, 1947. He was raised in Scott where he farmed on the family farm with his father until he began driving 18 wheelers, which quickly became his love and took pride in. He lived for the open road where he logged thousands of miles.
Early on, Steve enjoyed boating, camping and fishing on the lake with friends and family.
He loved riding his ''John Deere'' while mowing his lawn in a prestigious manner. He also enjoyed watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren play softball, soccer and bull riding.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Cleo; infant daughter, Shelly Renee; his sons, Max Stephen Jr. and Gary Don; as well as his grandson, Lance Byram.
Steve is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carolyn; Daughters, Gayla (Gary) Evatt, Penny Mathis-Davis and sister, Diana Lasley; as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren which he loved and cherished greatly.
A visitation will be on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 starting at 9am at the graveside with the funeral service starting at 10am at Crestlawn Cemetery.
