John Scott Wright, known to most as "Scott", died suddenly on July 8, 2024. Born on September 24, 1952 in Oxford, MS to parents, Charles Wright and Muriel Wright, Scott grew up in Memphis, TN. He moved to Little Rock in 1980, where he worked for eight years as a Distributor for Mac Tools and more years as an Automotive Technician at Sullivan's Automotive in Mabelvale. Scott was a member of Mabelvale Methodist Church. Scott cherished his church friends and automotive shop associates and customers more than can be imagined.

Predeceased by his parents; sister, Kathrin Wright and brother in law, Dr. Branch Fields, Jr. (Jaylene); Scott is survived by his wife, Candy Fields Wright; brothers, Gregg Wright of Middleburg, FL, Tim Wright (Cynthia) of Houston, TX and Jeffery Wright of Clemmons, NC and sisters, Marsha Ann Wright of Oxford and Julia Pauline Avery (Don) of Magnolia, AR; brother in law, Dr. Pat Fields (Merlie) of Little Rock; sister-in-law, Annie Weymark of Belleville, Ontario Canada and many beloved nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, July 15th at Mabelvale Methodist Church, 10500 Woodman St, Mabelvale, AR with Pastor Bob Marble officiating.
