James Alexander, 63, of Little Rock went to be with the Lord on July 7, 2024. He was born February 8, 1961 in Little Rock to Glenn and Dot Alexander.

He was a loving father, son, brother and friend to all who surrounded him. He loved music, hunting, fishing, laughing and pulling jokes at any opportunity he could…. ask his cousins (above all, Tonya Noto), they will tell you the stories. He was also a very hard worker. He dedicated over 34 years to Lift Truck Service Center. He loved his work family and was especially close to Doug Fletcher who became his best friend.

His faith was very strong with the Lord, which helped him get through the last 2 years battling colorectal cancer. He fought so hard because his daughter, Cait, made him pinky-promise to her and God that he would. He had a very supportive family who would proudly wear Blue to show that he was not facing the challenge alone. Please feel free to wear blue to the services in his honor.

James is preceded in death by his father, Glenn Alexander; his grandparents on both sides and his grandbaby, CJ, whom he never got to meet. He is survived by his daughter, Caitlin Shaye Christensen; his mother, Dot Alexander Turnbo (Gene); his sister, Glenda Snow (Jeff); his niece, Hayleigh Breeding (Jared); his nephew, Brock Tittle; along with his aunts, uncles and cousins.

The visitation will be at Ironton Baptist Church on Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 6:00-8:00pm. His funeral service will be Friday, July 12, 2024 at 11:00am at Ironton Baptist Church as well. Brother Sidney Thompson will be officiating. The burial will be at Ironton Cemetery following the funeral.
