Dorothy Jean Howard, 84, of Little Rock, Arkansas died Saturday, June 29, 2024. Dorothy was born September 14, 1939 in Prescott, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Curtis William and Daisy Celeste (Marshall) Plaxco. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Vernon Howard; children, Robin Renee Howard, Bobbi Lynn Howard and a brother, Leon Plaxco.

She was a manager of the Holiday Inn for many years and was of the Baptist faith. She grew up in the Dardanelle area and had lived in the Sherwood and North Little Rock areas over her life.

Dorothy is survived by her son, John Patrick Howard and wife, Laurie of North Little Rock; a number of grandchildren and a great-grandson.
