October 31, 1945 - July 2, 2024
Danny R. Dale, 78, of Batesville passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024.
He was born October 31, 1945 in Batesville to Everett and Francis (Stewart) Dale.
Danny was an avid golfer in adulthood and spent many days on the golf course with his friends. While golfing was his favorite pastime, his greatest joy was chasing his three granddaughters, one great-granddaughter and one great-grandson. He could be found at volleyball gyms, softball fields, choir concerts, dance recitals and feeding the deer in his backyard. When he wasn't chasing grands and great-grands, he could be found at golf tournaments with his son or traveling with his daughter. Regardless of where he was found, his wife of almost 60 years was always by his side. He retired from LaCroix Optical after 46 years. A hard worker and a follower of Christ, Danny was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend.
Survivors include his wife, whom he married July 10, 1964, Linda (Moser) Dale; one son, Kevin Dale (Tina) of Batesville; one daughter, Tammy Poole (Ken) of Batesville; two brothers, Teo Dale of Melbourne and Darrell Dale (Teresa) of Cushman; two sisters, Norma Jean Cox (Jerry) of Cash and Wilma Russell (Freddy) of Batesville; three granddaughters, Whitley Martin (Chris), Taylor Mead (Braden), Lexie Dale and two great-grandchildren, Bristyn Martin and Pierson Martin.
He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Burton, Gerald and David Dale.
