Jeanne Jo Ann Sanford, 90, of Aberdeen, South Dakota passed away on June 20, 2024. Jeanne was born on March 16, 1934 to Olaf William Anderson and Dorothy Myers. Jeanne was employed as a Legal Secretary for several years. She was a member of the Presbyterian faith. She enjoyed reading and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also had a fondness for Hummingbirds and flowers. In her younger years, she earned her pilots license and enjoyed flying her own Airplanes. She will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Jeanne is preceded in death by her parents, Olaf Anderson and Dorothy Myers; her son; Rick Sanford and her stepfather, Leo Myers.
She is survived by her son, Doug Sanford (Judy); Daughter, Jill Pope (Michael); Four Grandchildren, Scott Sanford (Kim), Matt Sanford (Victoria), Christopher Pope and Lydia Pope and Six Great-Grandchildren; Savannah Rylee Sanford, Madison Sanford, Andrew Sanford, Konnor Moore, Avelyn Kacena and Addilee Pope.
Visitation will be held at 9:00 AM Monday, June 24, 2024 At Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home in Benton, AR. Funeral Service to be held at 10:00AM. Burial will follow at FairPlay Cemetery.
