Ryan Alexander Cronin

of Conway, AR

May 27, 1993 - June 16, 2024

Ryan Alexander Cronin, 31, of Conway, Arkansas died peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, June 16, 2024.

He was born in East Norwich, New York in 1993 to Kevin and Diane Cronin, who were devoted, loving parents and lifelong Long Island natives who served countless community members through the Oyster Bay Cove Police department, Wesley Nursery School, and Oyster Bay Co-op. Ryan spent his childhood with his neighborhood friends on Long Island, taking golf trips to Hilton Head with his grandparents, hunting trips in Alabama and New York with his family, and attending Billy Joel concerts with his big sister. He was an avid sports fan and loved the Alabama Crimson Tide, New York Rangers, and Atlanta Braves. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina held some of his favorite memories, where he went on family vacations and eventually resided with his parents prior to moving to Conway. He attended Oyster Bay High School before studying Business Administration/Finance at the University of Alabama. He was a member of Christ Church of Oyster Bay.

Ryan was passionate about his role as Vice President of Client Services/Client Services Manager at Abel Noser Solutions for Trading Technologies, working for the company for seven years.

Ryan met the love of his life, Greer Veon, in the Fall of 2018 at the National Restaurant in New York City. Early in their relationship, he surprised her with a visit to the Rockefeller Christmas Tree where he told her he wanted to hold her hand and be her person. The two enjoyed attending various hockey games and concerts, trying out restaurants, visiting places like New Orleans and Amelia Island, and taking trips to museums. Excited to start their new lives together, the two were married June 10, 2023.

Ryan and his friends were practically inseparable throughout their lives. From weddings to football games to golf trips, they were there together through it all. Each friend that he had was touched by his selflessness and strength. He was a gentle giant, a friend to each and every person he met.

Ryan held a special place in his heart for his pets, treating each one like the valuable family member they were. He owned three Labrador retrievers over the course of his life: Rebel, Kacey, and Emmy.

Ryan will always be remembered for his sense of humor and the way that he lit up every room. We'll always imagine hearing them say ''Roll Tide Roll'' one more time. We couldn't have asked for a better son, sibling, cousin, grandson, coworker, friend, and husband, and will miss Ryan every day. His memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved him.

Ryan was preceded in death by grandparents Rodman Cronin, Frances and Anthony Dziomba. He is survived by his wife, Greer Veon-Cronin, of Conway, AR; parents Kevin and Diane Cronin of Myrtle Beach, SC; sister Elizabeth Cronin, Baltimore, MD; grandmother Eleanor Cronin, East Norwich, NY; and countless friends and relatives, including aunts, uncles, and cousins Sean, Connor, and Kayla Cronin who he was very fond of.

Family will receive friends at the Francis P. DeVine Funeral Home on Friday June 28 from 4-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be Saturday, June 29, at 2 p.m. at Christ Church 61 East Main St. Oyster Bay. Interment is private.
