Thomas Straver, 80, of Trumann, AR passed away Monday, June 10, 2024 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR. He was born January 11, 1944 in West Memphis, AR to James Edward and Bessie (Franklin) Straver. Thomas was a truck driver for PETCO-Rollers until retirement. He loved old cars, wood working, spending time with his grandchildren and his dog, Lola.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 52 years, Melba (Gunter) Straver; a son, Scott Straver; a daughter, Dee Brackenrich and several siblings.

Those left behind to cherish the wonderful memories of Thomas include his son, Michael Stayton; four daughters, Shellie Straver (Rodney) Langley, Renee Straver (Jamie) Prince, Terrye Straver and Courtney Lucas; grandchildren, Ciara (Jeffrey) Gray, Grayce Moore, Jaxon Moore, Dillon (Kelsey) Smith, Seana Smith, Emily Stayton, Jerod (Craig) Monette, Lindsay (James) Ainsworth, Laker Moye, Michelle Lucas, Tiff Brackenrich and Josh Brackenrich; many great-grandchildren; a brother, Jerry Straver and a sister, Henerita Forbus.

Chapel services will be 2 pm Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro with Greg Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will precede the service and begin at 1 pm.

Thomas' family will serve as pallbearers.
