Mrs. Rhea Edwards, 69, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 in Mountain Home.

Rhea was born on November 10, 1954 to John and Betty (Griffin) Murrell in Norfolk, Virginia. She spent most of her adult life as a dedicated homemaker. Later in life, Rhea pursued her passion for learning by returning to college, where she earned a Master's degree. She occasionally shared her love of knowledge by working as a substitute teacher in the public school system. A vivid memory cherished by her family is her remarkable achievement of reading through an entire set of encyclopedias.

Rhea loved spending time with her family and found joy in watching movies, playing video games and engaging in card games. Her family was the center of her world and her love for them was boundless.

Rhea is survived by her two sons, Bobby Edwards and Terry Edwards Jr. (Gina); her daughter, Becky Edwards (Rob Jordan); three grandchildren, Garrett, Bane and Hannah; two great-grandchildren, Kari and Miles and one brother, Johnny Murrell.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, John and Betty Murrell and brother, Jamie Murrell.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor and remember Rhea's remarkable life and the love she shared with those around her.
