Ricky McDavid Stobaugh of Conway, AR went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 3, 2024.

Ricky was born on November 28, 1958 to Afton and Sula Stobaugh in Little Rock, AR.

Ricky was preceded in death by his father, Afton and mother, Sula Stobaugh; brother, Don Stobaugh and two great-nephews, Tanner and Andrew Killough.

He is survived by his brother, Barry Stobaugh; sister, Susan (Cliff) Powell; sister-in-law, Kay Stobaugh; nieces and nephews, Mathew Powell, Jacob Powell, Courtney Powell, Kristin Stobaugh, D.D. (Erik) Simpson, Lisa (Brent) Scroggins, Brooklyn (Whit) Vardaman; six great-nieces and great-nephews and many more extended family.

Over his lifetime, he mainly worked in the construction industry. He was very talented and artistic in tile and woodworking. His hobbies were woodworking, golf and bow hunting. He enjoyed being around his friends and has helped many people on his journey. His dream was to buy a houseboat and sail the Caribbean. He was a member of the Robinson and Center Church of Christ.

A few of Ricky's closest friends when asked described him as follows:

''Rick was a very kind and gentle man, a great friend and an absolute hoot to take golfing. We had a lot of fun together. He was very easy going, lot of fun to be around, always cutting up. He will be greatly missed.''

''The way Rick lived was a principled lifestyle, never talking negative to anyone, always available to help anyone who asked and was a joy to be around. He set an example that I could only hope to live by.''

''I enjoyed playing softball with him, we were the oldest ones out there, but we competed and held on. I could talk to Rick about anything because he was a close friend.''

Ricky will be remembered by his generous spirit and compassionate treatment of others. His impact on his family and friends will be cherished forever.

Visitation will be at 9am, Saturday, June 8th at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with the funeral service following at 10am. Burial will be at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
