Beatrice Ann Quickel, 88, of Elm Springs, Arkansas, formerly of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord May 29, 2024. She was born in Newark, Ohio to Lee and Mildred Hotchkiss on September 28, 1935. Bea cherished spending time with her three granddaughters-Megs, Ash and Maddie. She loved feeding & watching the birds and wildlife at their home in Little Rock. Also, Bea was a lifelong, proud, enthusiastic and devout Ohio State Buckeyes fan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Quickel and her sister, Beverly Fawcett. Beatrice is survived by two sons, Curtis J Quickel and wife, Angela of Fayetteville, Arkansas; Dale E Quickel and wife, Lisa of Houston, Texas; three wonderful granddaughters, Ashlyn Quickel Vogel of Kansas City, Kansas; Meaghan and Madison Quickel of Houston, Texas; her younger brother, Robert Hotchkiss of Chattanooga, Tennessee and her younger sister, Bonnie Hotchkiss also of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Beatrice's name to Alzheimer's Arkansas.

Visitation will be held 11 am Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30 with funeral services following at 12 noon. Burial will follow the service at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander.
