of Marion, AR

May 20, 1947 - May 26, 2024

Jonathan Wayne ''Big Daddy'' Trusler, 77, of Marion, Arkansas passed away May 26, 2024. Wayne was born in Columbus, Georgia to the late Larry and Ruby Lee Fincher Trusler.

Wayne moved to West Memphis, Arkansas where he first met his future wife, Becky, in school. His family later moved to Clarksville, TN where he graduated from high school. Following graduation, he moved back to West Memphis and was soon drafted into the military, where he served in the United States Army. Wayne married the love of his life, Becky Herr, before heading off to the Vietnam War where he served as a Radio Operator.

After returning home from the war, Wayne worked 38 years for Sears and Roebuck as a division head warehouse supervisor before retiring to simply enjoy life.

He and Becky were married 56 years and had three children, Greg Trusler, Lindy and her husband, Scott Jones, which Wayne referred to as ''scooter" or "the boy'' and was his right-hand man and the late Tyler Blake Trusler. Wayne had several brothers and sisters, Joann Brown, Debbie Parker, Topsey Manning, Vickie Chaney, the late Mark Trusler and the late Larry Trusler as well as several nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Wayne had a love for many things but at the top of the list was his family and friends. He loved being outside, whether on a lake fishing, in a blind hunting or just sitting on a beach catching some rays. He enjoyed watching and talking about sports, especially college football and basketball. He was a die-hard Georgia Bulldog!

Wayne was a person that could captivate an audience with a childhood story or joke and was always the life of the party. He will be greatly missed by many.
